Older Americans Month Celebration

Let's celebrate Older Americans Month on May 17, 2018 at 12pm to 2pm at Kennedy Park, 335 Greenwich Street, Hempstead, NY 11550 - this year's theme is "Engage At Every Age" this event will focus on the importance of encouraging older Americans to remain both physically and mentally active. Seniors in our community are invited to attend, enjoy lunch and learn various ways they can live enriched and fulfilled lives.

Hempstead CDA's Landlord Tenant Workshop

Do you have questions about your rights and responsibilities as a tenant or landlord? Do you want to learn about how to complete or respond to maintenance requests and repairs? Do you want to become better at advocating for yourself? Hempstead's 133rd Annual Memorial Day Parade

You're invited to attend our 133rd Memorial Day Parade which will take place on May 27, 2018. Prior to the parade there will be a brief memorial ceremony at Greenfield Cemetery at 12:30pm. The parade will assemble at American Legion and will start at 2:30pm. Join us as we pay tribute to our fallen heroes. For more information call 516-478-6286.
