This year's parade has been cancelled but Village of Hempstead will still hold its MLK Community Celebration Event on January 15th, 2018

The MLK Day Parade has been cancelled. There will still be a Martin Luther King, Jr. Celebration Event that will take place at Miracle Christian Center at 334 Fulton Avenue, Hempstead, NY 11550. On Monday, January 15, 2018 at 9:30 am. This special event will feature performances from our very own including Hempstead High School Jr. ROTC, Musical Selections from Academy Charter School, spoken word artists, speakers and more!
