Gospel Unity Concert & Prayer Vigil 

Join us for a Night of Healing at our Gospel Unity Concert and Prayer Vigil on today, August 29th 6:30-8:30 pm at Kennedy Memorial Park - Gymnasium (335 Greenwich Street Hempstead). 9/11 NATIONAL DAY OF REMEMBRANCE

On September 11, 2017, at 12:30 pm, at Denton Green Village Officials, First responders and the Hempstead community will remember the victims, fallen heroes, and families of the World Trade Center Tragedy. For more information call 516-478-6286.

Nickelodeon Day of Play!

Calling ALL Hempstead Kids!  Put down your electronics, get up, get out, and play! Join the Village of Hempstead in participating in Nickelodeon's Annual Day of Play on September 16, 2017 at Kennedy Park from 12pm to 3pm. Activities include tennis, basketball, a kickball contest, and more!

National Recovery Month Event

Join us on Monday, September 18, 2017, at 6-8pm for our Recovery Month Event. This event is a part of the National Recovery Month Initiative which recognizes the effects and benefits of recovery from mental illness and substance abuse. We will also celebrate those who have worked to advance treatment and recovery in this important field. For more information call 516-478-6286.

Save the Date for the "1st Annual Business Appreciation" Event

On Saturday, September 30th from 12pm to 5pm Village will host it's 1st Annual Business Appreciation Event.  During this celebration we will acknowledge various businesses for their service and longevity in the village of Hempstead.  This event will also allow residents to get a better understanding of what our business offer and will provide an opportunity for businesses to promote their offerings.  The event will take place in parking field #14 (next to Village Hall, 99 Nichols Court, Hempstead, NY 11550).  Free food and refreshments will be available.
