The Village of Hempstead Mayor Ryan attended the presentation of two Eagle Scout Awards bestowed upon Rashawn Jacques Vailes and Stephan Alexander Vailes on June 17th 2017.
Rashawn and Stephan worked together to restore the parking lot of the Historic St. George Episcopal Church where the awards ceremony was held as well as redo the flower beds at the Roosevelt Children’s Academy Charter School. Their exemplary work for the community is why they are now part of the four percent of Scouts to earn the Eagle Rank.
As part of the program, Mayor Ryan presented the Vailes Twins with citations to thank and honor them for their selfless work for the community.
