Village of Hempstead Mayor Wayne J. Hall Sr. recently spoke to several small business owners regarding critical issues facing small businesses at the Excelsior Growth Fund (EGF) and Community Development Corporation of Long Island (CDCLI) Funding Corporation’s financial seminar series. The series is designed to provide critical tools, resources and strategies designed to assist small business owners in managing finances and accessing capital.
“Small businesses are vital to the health and success of the Village of Hempstead’s economy and community,” said Mayor Hall. “The Village is proud to support the EGF and CDCLI Funding Corporation in our common goal of sharing information and resources to help small businesses succeed.”
Attendees at the “Access to Capital” financial seminar at which Mayor Hall spoke learned about available financing options, including how to maximize chances of securing credit at the best terms possible, how lenders might evaluate their business, personal and business credit and credit repair.
“The Village has a number of programs to help small businesses succeed and we are always happy to answer questions about how to make the most of available programs and opportunities,” said Village of Hempstead Deputy Mayor Luis Figueroa.
