The Incorporated Village of Hempstead’s Department of Public Works (DPW) is pleased to present the “Hempstead Village Recycles” Artwork Contest for Hempstead Union Free School District students in grades 5-12. The purpose of the contest is to initiate discussions and encourage action among students to do their part in recycling and sustainability.
