The Outdoor Training Facility is responsible for the training of Hempstead Law Enforcement Officers. Some of the many subjects taught by the New York State Certificated Instructors are Verbal De-escalation, Crisis Intervention, Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation, Defensive Tactics and Firearms.
